Ely Boathouse

Ely is only 12 miles from Cambridge and is accessible via the A10 or A14. Upon arrival, Ely has a variety of free long stay and short stay car parks.

From Cambridge take the A10 towards Ely. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Angel Drove/A142.

At the roundabout take the 2d exit onto Station Road/A142. Turn right to continue onto Bridge Road/A142 - train station is on your right.

Drive under the Railway Bridge, over the river/A142. Queen Adelaide is first left, Ely Boathouse is about 2 miles on your left.

From M11 , follow signs for Newmarket/Norwich/A11. Continue on A11, onto Newmarket Bypass/A14. Take A142 to Ely/ Newmarket. Turn left onto Fordham Road A142 Ely

As you arrive in Ely, Queen Adelaide turn is on your right.

The train station is a bit further down, over the River, under the Railway Bridge on your left.

By Rail

Ely boasts direct connections to London King's Cross, Norwich, Cambridge, the Midlands and Stansted Airport. Upon arrival it is then only a 5 minute walk to Ely’s beautiful waterside or a further 5 minute walk into the heart of the City and the Tourist Information Centre. Taxis and buses are also available from the station should you prefer.

From Train Station, turn right onto A142, drive under the railway Bridge, over the Rover and Queen Adelaide is on your left. Ely Boathouse is about 2 miles on your left.
